This is the same product that tado° sells in regards to labeling, hardware and functionality, but sold through our installer and service company channel and shipped in a co-branded Viessmann/tado° packaging. Tado° will continue to sell their device without the Viessmann branding.

Can I install this on my own?


The tado° Smart Thermostat, as well as other accessories, is relatively quick and easy to install. Nevertheless, we recommend relying on the expertise of your installer or service company who has sold you the device to help ensure correct installation.

My heating system is quite old/new - is it supported by tado°?


tado° was designed to work with most heating systems, whether old or new. Be it a 30 year-old gas boiler, or a state-of-the-art heat pump, tado° is unique in Europe because of manufacturer-independent compatibility. If you have any questions, tado° customer service will be happy to help you.

What warranty applies to the tado° products sold through Viessmann?


tado° honours the usual 2 year warranty on devices sold through Viessmann.

What is the refund policy?


Only products with defects are replaced or repaired by tado°.
